This is also the case in the new one, this is the grille and under it there is a hole to be cut out. In the old one it was divided in half and the left side can be beaten without any problems. The new one is resistant and I am afraid that I will break something when opening it.

that is, in general, this hole is only to facilitate access to the cleaning of the radiator, which is visible after removing the fluff filters?

Yes, and you can pour water on it because it flows back out.

So you can't really pour water over there now? I wonder that the dryer is pouring water there and somehow pumps it out, but in total you can clog the pump with lint.

Could anyone with the BOSCH WTG 86400PL dryer give you the dimensions of the spacing of the legs? I would like to put it on the washing machine, and I have nowhere to check it from nature. I'm afraid it might be too big. Thank you in advance. By the way, a very helpful topic.

Rather, it should be the same in every similar Bosch model, Siemens for me is 53 cm wide and 46 cm deep /

Hello .. I am faced with the choice of a condenser dryer with a Bosch heat pump wtw876e0pl or wtw85561pl. Maybe someone has and will share their opinion. I have studied the descriptions on the Internet and I have a problem with the choice.

What do you think about this dryer: Whirlpool HSCX 80425 and whirlpool in general?

I have read the entire thread and rather lean on a device without a pump (e.g. Bosch WTG86400PL changed here probably by all cases :) ) but the above-mentioned model was bought by her sister-in-law and she praises herself but she has only 2 weeks, so it's hard to say anything about durability.

The dryer will stand in the kitchen with an area of 12 sq m, so there will be no problem with giving off heat, and in winter it will be even advisable.

And one more question, can the dryer be covered with a kitchen worktop?

At Bosch, the worktop does not heat up. It is not possible to remove it as the front panel overlaps the top. In washing machines, it is better solved. If you want to build under the countertop, Bosch is 85cm high.
I also have recently Bosch, maybe 2 months. So far it works, the simplicity of the design - I take the exchanger out and rinse it in the shower with lint, and in the middle of the housing I wipe it with a cloth and it's ok. or so constructed as not to stop accidentally. I used to lean on my hip to stop the program.

Hello, I have read the whole thread and I still do not know what to choose, I want to buy a dryer because of the dampness in the apartment (in the room where I dry my clothes and sleep) my windows are flooded all the time and the panels by the window have swollen. He wants to put the dryer in the storeroom under the stairs, which is closed and there are no windows or vents, it is warm around 22-23 degrees. I wanted to choose the Electrolux EW7H438BP PerfectCare dryer with a heat pump, but from what I read it is an emergency. Additionally, electrolux has no positive opinions. What would you advise, dear forum users, up to PLN 2,500.
Ps. the wife does the laundry :-) at least once a day, it depends on how much laundry is put on the dryer.

In the storage room under the stairs without ventilation, it is only a model with a heat pump.
Friends are already one year old Electrolux EDH3887GDE.
It still works and they are satisfied.

If you kept the dryer in a vestibule, on a balcony, in a garage or in a large basement, the heater version would be better.

Thanks for the hint, too, I think you will have to take the heat pump just how long it comes from :-) because I do this washing, or rather you do not recommend electrolux here. You will need to take a warranty extension.

Added after 5 [hours] 57 [minutes]:

And won't taking such a BOSCH WTG86400PL dryer and placing it under the stairs and opening the door help to extract additional moisture from the house? Because when dryers without a heat pump draw in cooler air and release warm air, they de facto dry the air. Tell me if I understand correctly. Because maybe thanks to this procedure I will have an additional air dehumidifier at home :-)

I thought so a bit too before delving into the topic of household dryers. But unfortunately that's not how it works.
Both types of dryers have closed circuits, so they will not dry or dampen the room.
It is true that the warm air blown from the dryer can indirectly help in removing moisture from the apartment. But only that.

Ps. A device that draws in warm air and expels cold air, and dries it, not the other way around, e.g. air conditioning.

    Hello.
    I bought a BOSCH WTH8520SPL dryer - 8 kg with a heat pump, class A ++.
Someone asked about the power consumption, it looks like this:

after switching on, the consumption is max. 400w and it remains so throughout the drying cycle
I have an 8 kg washing machine and a full load of cotton ("into the closet") dries me about 2.5-3 hours and the power consumption on the wattmeter after drying is about 0.6-0.7 kW

The cool thing is 2 filters that need to be cleaned after each drying, but + is such that if 1 will not catch, it stops in the second and you do not need to clean anything extra (yet) ...

A good choice, plus a washing machine with 1600 revolutions per minute for spinning and it is not worth hanging rags on a string.

If you write about spinning - I run 1000 on a full washing machine and probably if I give more, the consumption will definitely decrease ...
But at my place, we dry a lot of children's clothes and when I give more spin, the clothes are more wrinkled. For 1000 spins after drying, my wife puts the clothes straight into the wardrobe, there is no need to iron them ;)

PS I was on sale where I gave 2100 PLN for this dryer :D

Why this model and not, for example, electrolux? Because I also have a dilemma and after Christmas I want to buy something and the choice was between electrolux and god. Have you considered any specific programs?

I called the seller what I took a bit of equipment from him and he recommends the HSCX 80425 whirlpool, what do you think about this brand and this particular model, because I can't find a lot of reviews and opinions about it.

I have a Bosch washing machine from a similar series, so it was an argument, but besides, I had one electrolux model for a similar price and I did not like it visually - the most noticeable were the plastic closure latches, the bottom ones chasing ...
In terms of programs, the Bosch was also better for me, and I had a good price on this Bosch.
As for the parameters - electrolux dries faster, it seems to be better in terms of company, but everyone has to make the choice themselves ... ;)

You actually had a good price :-) today I went to see this wirlpool but the shop was until 5pm so I didn't have time :-) wirlpool has a better condensation efficiency class A, all dryers up to 2500 have rather B, I do not know how important it is, I will have to read. best regards

These times are long. Try to divide the laundry. Although I have an 8 kg dryer, I share the laundry. First, thin underwear, t-shirts, shirts, satin sheets. Towels or thick cotton linen separately for the second drying. I noticed that thanks to this, drying takes up to 40 minutes. When I combined the thick and thin ones, the thin ones were dried on paper, the thick ones were still damp, so the humidity sensor did not turn off the dryer, and it was all going on for over an hour.
It is hard to reach the times from the manual, maybe these are max times. I have never had a chance to dry for more than an hour with the above materials. The "gentle" button reduces the temperature but lengthens it

I clean the pre-filter once a week and rinse the second filter in the shower once a month. Class B. It's hard for me to relate to class A, well, it dries.
I have a Bosh without a heat pump

I will choose this wirlpool :-) tomorrow, if time permits, I will come and buy it. I will let you know how it will work, and it will not be easy, two large baskets full of laundry are waiting, so immediately from a thick pipe :-)

Steam refreshing can be an interesting function, all in all I would have to add something to mine after a quick wash.
In general, you will be satisfied with each of them. After drying, clothes are soft and most of them do not need to be ironed anymore

    Good morning

I have had Electrolux EDH98981W for 5 years. From time to time it overheats and crashes with the E60 error, but after it cools down it passes. Two years ago I replaced a broken V-belt in it, so I got to know it thoroughly. Unfortunately, the following problem has arisen more and more often for about six months. I choose the program, press "play", the dryer starts and after a few or a dozen minutes of rotating the drum, it starts to whistle as if it is pumping something, it whirls for a few minutes, slowly spins the drum and stops (pauses) and the diode which means "full tank with water". The tank at the top of the dryer is obviously empty. After pressing the "play / pause" button, it moves on and works again for several to several minutes and does the same. It will let you go for a few minutes and then pause and the diode which means "full water tank" flashes. Sometimes it is helped by a reset by disconnecting the power supply during operation, the switch to zero and selecting the program again and restarting it, sometimes it can run the entire program without stopping after such a reset.
What could be causing this behavior?

Maybe this rattle is just the pump pumping water into the tank at the top?

And should she be working all the time? Because these drum stops and pump rattles occur essentially at the same time (program timing). For example, a program of 2:20, at 2:12 the dryer stops, the pump whirls until 2:07 and crashes for a pause and the LED blinks like an overfilled tank. Besides, at the beginning of the program and at the end, she probably doesn't have much to pump. Where is the water tank overflow sensor if there is no float etc in the removable tank itself?

Hello, I am currently looking for a dryer and I am leaning towards Bosch WTW85461PL. I wanted to put it on the Whirlpool AVOC 0714 washing machine, which is currently built in the kitchen, and put it in the hall wardrobe. Therefore, I have the following questions:
    - is it possible to install this dryer on this washing machine?
    - Will I be able to use the universal WPRO SKS101 whirlpool connector
    - is it possible to install everything in the wardrobe?

I will be grateful for your help
