The problem is that I only see an inverter as AP, i.e. SUN2000xxxxx, there is no dongle.

I have this soft from the previous pages:
    https://mega.nz/file/888nDCqC#AQk3qYMYsueXrQn2BGdk7spO_0afP76kIcg5uSb5TrI
just how to squeeze it through the SUN2000? Select a different file at the inverter and indicate? Is the second MBUS item?

    Have an installer account?

I did not do it from the app, but I know that the dongle in wifi mode broadcasts for a short period after restarting (or the entire inverter or after removing / inserting USB).
Also look on these screens - maybe they will guide you ...

Thanks. In fact, a short while after the reboot, Dongel acts as AP. After entering the same password as for the inverter and connected via SUN2000, I was able to push the package linked above,

I don't need it, this one works with Home Assistant.
What about the second item from the screen - MBUS? Are you updating it? The SPC300 appears there for me to choose and install.

I've never picked it up but I don't even know if my model has it ...
What is this - it is for communication on the power grid?

Hello, through which application is it better to upload the inverter and dongle upgrade? Fusionsolar or Sun2000? Recently I was doing an inverter upgrade via Fusionsolar (being logged in as user) and the installation in Fusionsolar disappeared. My installer had to connect the installations to my login via the web.

    Hi,
the fusion solar application has not been working since yesterday, I also cannot log in to the website (website not reachable), the dongle flashes red, when I scan the QR code from the inverter, a message appears that it is impossible to connect, the wi-fi network with the dongle is not available Internet connection - this is the message I have when I choose the sun2000 wi-fi network.
what can I do from my level - I will write immediately that I am not fluent in computer science ;)
Does this inverter work normally, despite the lack of internet connection, the two lights are green and the third one is flashing from wi-fi?
I did not update anything, sometimes it freezes, but most often removing the dongle and putting it back on fixes the problem, and now unfortunately not.

Yes - if the first two are lit, it gives energy to the grid
Dongle has been freaking out since yesterday because of the lack of a cloud (as @ karol4000 wrote - they have maintenance work - they reported on fusionsolar - via the website).

I was sneezing from around 7:20 pm to midnight. Then, by around 4 a.m., it returned to normal and is still not working until now - they are probably modernizing something sharply.
A side effect that is not too cool is that this dongle senses "no cloud" and reboots cyclically causing Link Down / Link Up. By the way, causing problems with reading it after modbus / tcp.

Hello. I have a question. Yesterday, the inverter was updated by Fusionsolar to version 140. When the update was about 85%, a message appeared that the phone lost connection with the inverter. The inverter has restarted and has restarted. When I enter the option to check the software version, there is version 140 there, which is as if the update had been made. How do you think I should leave it like that or try and repeat the update to be successful? I do not know if the inverter is currently working properly because I am not at home and the cloud is not working.

This is the correct course of the update. Don't fix anything

Approx. Even if at the end I did not receive the message about a successful update?

I was flying on version 123 in the dongle, I updated to 126 and stopped sending to Home Assistant for LAN. Should something be re-enabled in the Fusionsolar app? The data from the Fusionsolar cloud is further sent to the application, so the dongle itself works

log in via the SUN2000 app and check the communication options, because now you can enable / disable access to modbus tcp ...

Colleagues, how do you connect the inverter with HA? On the terminal where I have HA, I connect to the SUN2000 inverter network ..., in HA the fusion_solar integration works ok. The limitation is that the terminal must be within the range of the inverter. There is another way?

    @szeryfff
With the new firmware in the dongle, you can also connect via ethernet or directly via WiFi of the dongle, i.e. via the address of the inverter in the home network.

That's how I uploaded it since December. Works without major changes, in my installation the Battery bank disappeared from the application that I never had. Maybe not so much as disappeared. But it didn't reappear.

And I'm with such a problem. I wanted to connect my installation to HomeAssistant, but after reading many threads in this topic, I checked that I have the firmware version 135/119, so I wrote to the support to send me newer firmware and installation instructions.
However, they offered to update the inverter and dongle for me remotely - so I agreed.
They uploaded the 140/126 version to me and it turned out that today, in cloudy weather, the inverter did not produce anything at all - total 0 and did not even change the start and stop times of the installation - it wrote all the time that too little sunlight, although in the past, even in worse weather, something could do to produce. I wrote to them that something was wrong and that they would upload the older version to me, but so far they have not written back anything.

I would like to add that from the inverter configuration level I activated the modbus and nicely connected to HomeAssistant after wifi and it shows beautiful 0 :)

I have already downloaded the older firmware 139/124 from the forum, and I wonder if it makes sense to upload the inverter and dongle update, or maybe leave the dongle on 126 (because it looks ok) and only the inverter should be uploaded older, or maybe wait for them to write back from the support.

    Anyone had similar dilemmas?

And when the app showed you the lack of production, did you check it physically on the inverter? I mean how the LEDs behaved.

They write back from the support immediately, wait. Check today if the inverter will get up, I had the inverter turned off after the update in the options. I woke him up remotely, but after dark, he was producing for the next day. Log in as an installer via www, or see your permissions on www. You can also check locally via the inverter hotspot as an installer whether the production is sometimes off

I do not have an installer account via www, but when I connected locally via hotspot to the inverter, it showed the same, i.e. no production all day. As a preventive measure, I hard reset the device.

Topic summary

The discussion centers on issues and configurations related to Huawei SUN2000 series inverters, particularly focusing on WiFi dongle connectivity, firmware updates, and the FusionSolar platform. Users report successful inverter commissioning and firmware updates but face persistent problems connecting the WiFi dongle, which often blinks red and appears offline in FusionSolar. A reliable workaround is connecting the dongle via Ethernet cable to the router. Changing WiFi network credentials requires logging directly into the inverter through FusionSolar or FusionHome apps, as remote password changes are not supported. Installer accounts have broader configuration permissions than owner accounts, which often restrict access to settings such as location, currency, and power configuration. The discussion also covers optimal network code selection (e.g., Germany-VDE-AR-N-4105 for Poland), MPPT multi-peak scanning settings for shadowed panels, and string capacity configuration aligning with physical panel connections. Users note that inverter startup voltage and MPPT voltage ranges affect minimum panel string length, with debates on using 140V or 240V for calculations. Firmware updates are available but may not always be visible to all users simultaneously; some recommend downgrading FusionSolar app versions to resolve login or configuration issues. The FusionSolar platform's interface and permissions can be non-intuitive, with some users unable to modify installation parameters without installer access. Additional topics include inverter automatic shutdown due to high grid voltage, anti-PID function requiring external devices, and integration with Huawei DTSU666-H smart meters, which are often auto-detected. Overall, the thread provides practical advice on inverter setup, network configuration, firmware management, and troubleshooting communication issues with Huawei SUN2000 inverters and associated software tools.
