    Because I'm going to buy the above model currently on the manufacturer's website for 309 zlotys, I have a few strict technical questions to the previous speakers because I can see that it wasn't without a fight.

    1. Can the camera trap send MMS only without using any cellular data, very important because only the MMS package with no cellular data should be launched on the prepaid sim card.

    2. Is the gsm antenna bent?

    3. Can the camera trap be powered by 1.2 V 2500 mAh rechargeable batteries, will they be able to power the device and whether they are charged after connecting the power supply, if possible.

    Hello and I have such a problem, the camera sends photos regularly every 6 minutes until all the funds on the account. And the second thing is the quality of the photos, it will go away during the day but the massacre is hardly visible at night, some strange tingling like in old TVs. If anyone knows what's going on, please give me some tips

    Thank you Kamil about effort with this issue.

    During the test with this FW (md5sum "28284c8477d02b5ebb6d931f9cec8225") in my cam (series PO12636) doesn't send pics on demand with SMS command *500*. All other commands works (MMS *505* untested). I am going to extensively test quality of pics.

    Official firmware (FWF900.bin with md5sum "c0eb61ff3317a2a24d2e2e0ad80e21b7") this time at:

    in the cam sends pics on arbitrary SMS command. SMS commands: *531* Camera sleep.*520* Get Pic information are defunct.
    Quality of pics untested yet.

    Denver support hasn't sent functional FW according to trivial SMS control in user manual, similarly as Suntek with HC-800M cam.

    Suntek HC-800M cam has time lapse in menu, but WCM-8010 doesn't have it (but I don't know all possible versions of FW).
    I would do (maybe new FW from Denver ), reset to default, format SD card and use mmsconfig to generate new Parameter.dat -> copy to SD card. If it does not help, it is probably broken.

    Quality of pics is pure (snowy) especially in the night when bad FW is used. Another reason is discharged batteries and/or low temperatures with use NiMH cells - IR LEDs drains weak cells.

    all day she was taking photos on the move - three as arranged, 10sec video, the first sent via SMS as well as by e-mail :)

    520 - sent data
    530 - she made the start, 531 she made the stop

    but - it doesn't respond to 500 and 505 :(

    any ideas?

    Yes it is known issue. This firmware is here with courtesy to Kamil and his effort with the support. So FW is best to now I have ever known.

    Denver support wrote me that SMS control is "testing only feature". I have replayed him that this cam costs more than without SMS control and SMS control functionality is in user manual and no producer has say that SMS control is for test purposes only.

    It is need to complain to Denver support about it from most of users.

    Code 500 and 505 only works when motion are not being detected.. tested here without any problems.

    Gentlemen, I have a different problem. I installed the software update and after this installation I start the cam in the "Test" mode, the image from the camera appears on the screen for 1 second and everything disappears. Could these be batteries that were inserted 4 days ago?

    Gentlemen, hello, I have a small problem with the power supply, I suspected it yesterday at noon and notifications stopped reaching 18.37 today I approach it and the red diode blinks quickly at the top where the infrared. TEST mode the screen has turned on and on several times. The battery status is shown on the display full (Panasonic Pro Power batteries) (I put new batteries in and everything works as it should (only how long). Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

    Welcome. Some insights after prolonged use of this camera. As I wrote earlier, uploading a new software helps only temporarily when it comes to sms commands regarding the "Start, Stop" function. So I gave it up. The command "* 505 * - after which the camera takes a picture and sends mms works flawlessly. As one of the colleagues wrote a few posts earlier, the commands are probably in the testing phase. The sim card in the Play network works flawlessly. The camera works better on configuration with HC 300M than on the manufacturer's dedicated. The ground is power supply. The AGM 6V 12Ah gel battery has been working without a problem for a month now. I also use JAPANESE ENELOOP PRO AA R6 BLACK BATTERIES as black, but the charge time is shorter to max. faster, although on the HC 300M they last up to a month. The red shining diode usually indicates the discharge of the rechargeable batteries, although sometimes as if the camera hung and just turn it off and on again. As I wrote the base is a good power supply. As I wrote earlier with I don't have as many problems with the HC 300M camera as with the WCM 8010.

    This FW is the first I have ever seen that can send pics with SMS controll command *500*
    md5sum:
    6efadc6c4427e02fc75b7d081acbd1b5 FWF900.bin

    but all other SMS commands does pics on SD card even if they don't dedicated to it.
    After the command *531* (Camera stop) the only way to use camera is manually reboot or set to default.

    Denver (Suntek) can not make the software (FW).

    Please help. Does not send all photos. Only part, MMS / SMS package purchased. What is the cause. Works on commands 530/531. It doesn't work on e.g. 505.

    Hello everyone.
    Unfortunately, I also became the owner of this crap. My problem is that after winning a new software from the manufacturer, which was given here for one of the camera traps (12636 series). There is ... a mirror image on the screen.
    Of course, I can't even dream about reacting to SMS commands.

    The second one only sends a photo taken in the test mode to the given number and e-mail address. The attached one does not respond to SMS commands.

    And you did reset the photocells to factory settings ...? Win the settings for the microSD card again and don't forget to remove the batteries after a factory reset. If that doesn't work, win the soft one that I inserted a few posts earlier and do a reset again and set all options again. Set to 3 pictures when taking pictures.

    The infrared does not work as the battery is low and the red LED on the photo trap is blinking or on. Do you use batteries or rechargeable batteries?
    After uploading the software, it's best to reset the settings on your device and insert a blank formatted microSD card. Only after the reset, as everything starts correctly, upload the settings to the card and it is using the program provided by the manufacturer, as it will not help, try with another microSD card. Although I used a few cards even the cheapest 2Gb card and I never had a problem.
    After uploading the settings, make sure that they are all the same in the menu as in the program, especially the phone number and whether you have selected taking photos and video. If everything is correct, pull out the battery for a while and insert it again. It must work unless you have won a different soft than another model ...

    If we are talking about the Denver camera, the software provided with the camera on the disc will allow the correct setting of parameters only for orange and t-mobile networks! I wrote somewhere at the beginning of this thread that the towarek24.pl website has a "download" tab next to the product. There is configuration software that has already improved databases and correctly configures for all 4 major operators in Poland. Personally, I have improved these databases. The only drawback is the ability to set the language incorrectly in the camera after loading the configuration file. The error results from the fact that there may be other language indexes in the camera software, compared to the configurator.

    I always uploaded the program included on the board from the manufacturer and I never had a problem with sending mms and connecting to the mobile network, because I manually entered all the options to connect to the network, not from the machine.
    I even checked the program what you praise it so much and after the first use I dumped ...

    If you want everything to work as it should, you must first enter the settings for each network manually from the file that I have provided, so that you do not have to search on the internet and on the operators' websites for each possible network and upload the program from the plate. Only then combine at your own risk with various programs and softphones from other devices, but it is a few entries in this thread that the camera trap does not work and you need the original batch ...

    I had PO versions: 13057, I combined for two days with various softeners, SD and SIM cards (both with Plus). At best, the photo trap worked for about 30 minutes, easily detected movement, took and sent photos via MMS, responded to text messages 520 and 505. After half an hour or sometimes earlier it fell asleep and stopped doing anything. Several times after turning it off and on, it turned out that it switched to Portuguese.
    On the software from the manufacturer's website (I uploaded it as directed in the instructions) it did not work at all - a black screen.
    After two days of fighting, I decided to turn it inoperative.

    I recently bought the device in PO13057 version
