MMS and SMTP cannot be active together, OR OR.

When configuring SMTP, as far as gmail is concerned, remember to enable the access to less secure applications in the Google account management options in the security tab.

Beware if you try to update the firmware on model PO 12118 !

I updated my Denver WCM-8010 PO12118 with the firmware from the Denver Homepage
    but this broke my camera.
After the update it always showed "low battery" warning after the Denver splash boot screen.

I tried to fix it by applying the firmware offered at towarek24.pl
which was mentioned in a previous post, but this firmware had the same issue on my PO12118 .

    I contacted the Denver Service-Germany <service-germany@intersales.eu>
with my problem and they sent me a working firmware within a day. Great Support!!

My camera is working again now, but be warned if you own a PO 12118 model - dont't use the firmware from the websites above!

Hello everyone, my old WCM3004 refused to cooperate after 3 years, I bought WCM8010 [WCM 8010 13456-04 / 20/00897] and it does not work as it should on the original software did not work at all, I uploaded the latest from Denver 2020 like sms commands send but the quality of the pictures blurred tragedy, horizontal lines. I wrote to our service and I wait interesting how long, maybe my friends will give something in the subject, because the new equipment does not work and the problem with the configuration. Yes I agree with you, the same about firmware (non)functionality of WCM-8010.

But the support said me, when I asked him for correct firmware:

SMS commands should only be used for testing. It is not made to use those all the time. (sms codes will for example not work if the camera is seeing movement at the same time)

This is consumer deluding policy. In user manual is nothing about test purposes of SMS commands.
It is need to firmly require and ask the support for correct FW.
The last step is mass action in EU court to protect consumers laws.

The first WCM -8010 was returned, the cash was returned, from our representative of the Denver company from Chorzów, I bought the same model again because we hoped that the previous copy was faulty [the only service that tried to do something to solve the problem was the service from Germany sent a few soft to the test, but without improvement and they said they had better return] but it was the same.
I bought HC801M 2G and I am satisfied with the photos for me of sufficient quality SMS commands are accepted and sent back is just OK and you have to forget about Denver. To configure the same program. Regards.
    Photo for comparison.

Anyone know what is the difference between WCM-810 and WCM-810MK2? I have the latter. I downloaded the update from WCM-810 for PO13456. I'm trying to configure it. Something worked out on the SanDisk sd cards. It seems to work, but ... MMS sends after about 3-4 minutes from detecting the movement and between taking a photo and recording, a 10s slip - sometimes too much. Eats batteries evenly and I'm considering external power - power supply inside and lead out. There is 9V-12V at the power socket. I do not know what plug of the power supply and I have not seen the manual, or anything dedicated either.

    Eats batteries equally
If the batteries die quickly during low traffic (in the forest), you rather have some load, check the battery status on the motherboard inside, supporting the internal clock and settings. The battery should be 3V if it is tarnished and damaged, you must replace it.

New camera, just purchased and barely used ...

One more thing - someone has tested SanDisk class 4 16GB / 32GB sd cards? Compared to SanDisk's class 10

One day under the cloud, a bit of moisture, temperature change and you do not need too much for the battery to die Chinese equipment, so you can expect some imperfections.

SanDisk 32GB MicroSD HC I Class 4, I recommend using these, not class 10

is it possible to turn off mms sending after each hour? It sends MMS regularly and I only want to send mms when motion is detected. Is it possible with this camera?
    Thanks

I did not check, you can check but I bet that you will probably have a black screen but there is certainly some chance that it will come up, I don't know why? If you want to have fun, it is at your own risk, but if you do not approach it, you will return to the HC-800M version without any problems.

Because I can't find the HC800G software anywhere? On the manufacturer's website, only soft for the alleged version of Hc-800G without MMSconfig support, only set by the android application - but the application does not want to add a webcam by QR code, I write with the wrong camera ID or something like that, that's why I am looking for the software

What is this version after all, because M and G is the difference.

And what firmware version do you have currently uploaded?

You can always set up a photo trap, take a picture of the motherboard from, for example, the motherboard and write to the technical support, they usually send the current firmware after the motherboard number.

I have the HC-800 M / G model with HC-800 G (WCDMA CDMA) marked on the box. Generally, I bought the M version and I got the G. When I put the PLUS card on, it detects the Plus GSM 3G network

A moment ago I threw soft from 801 B and it went but without modem support.

    I had the original Soft: UC15 on 01/18/2019 17:12

I put soft on the manufacturer's website for HC-800G but it does not support MMSConfig and the parameters.dat file

    Here you are firmware
The newer version is with a 2.4 '' display, and the older one is 2 ''.

    And from what they write:

Note : When you make a firmware update, your camera will not support mmsconfig application, but support the App only.

Note : The camera does not support mmsconfig while updating the firmware, but only supports this application.

Instructions for using the application in the attachment.

Yes, I uploaded the version with 2 '' because I have such a display in the camera and the camera trap works but does not support mmsconfig and the alleged application I write to me after scanning the camera ID that the ID is not supported

The lack of support for mms config makes me unable to enter a phone number into mms

After uploading the new firmware, restore the factory settings and restart the photo trap. Alternatively, check if there is an update of this application in the play store.

Does some files generate a photo trap on the card? Alternatively, format the internal memory ... anyway, I recommend contacting support(_at_)cnsuntek.com

I read that if a message about an unknown device id appears after scanning the QR code, then suntec should be sent the trap IMEI and they will add to the supported ones. Nothing :( I will look for batches with 801G and replace.

    Added after 6 [minutes]:

Okay I sent IMEI to suntec, now waiting for imei to be added to their server and for their reply.

    Added after 7 [minutes]:

But I can see that despite the firmware update, it is beating with timelapse, even though it is turned off - these webcams are already on my trail, these are real problems

I got soft to 801M from the website, on which everything works fine because on the one uploaded by the manufacturer after some time there were problems, it works fine.

I saw your post with this soft in some post on the electrode, I tried it before, but after uploading a white screen. When turned on again, white too.

Because this is the M version, not the G version, and probably as I wrote, you have a 2.4 'display and your friend's gordon1 firmware is probably under 2.0' '
wait for a response from technical support.

Yes, according to what I have on the cardboard box from the camera, it is a version with a 3g modem but with a 2 '' display. The Soft probably comes from the model with the 2.4 "display.

I won soft from the 801b version without a modem, because I found one, the webcam started, fired and worked, but without MMS support.

I am looking for a software for the HC-800G or HC-801G version with a 2 "display

Thank you, I already found him by searching the internet this morning. As I mentioned, it does not support mmsconfig anymore, nor does it read the parameters.dat file, and to be able to use the suntec app, send the camera imei to suntec and wait for it to be added to the server.

They allegedly write that if we do not agree with this, you can leave the firmware but they have not released the older version.

Wow, I thought it was a popular model and there would be no problems with soft, and here I did well at Karol. But as I mentioned I was getting MMS every minute and I thought that the timelapse bug would be fixed in the new software.

Oh, BTW, did you replace the system battery? Is she mutated or glued to that badge from +?

It is worth making a copy of the batch, if possible.

It is usually soldered to a PCB.

That's right, but I didn't have the tools to do it, I make a trap to catch a thief and it still took me more time than the fun was worth it.

If any of you had a charge or could help, I would be grateful. Now it remains for me to wait for suntec to add imei to the database supported by the app
