parameters of this SUNGROW SG3K6-D. very similar, so there should be no problems, only be interested in a possible guarantee and possible monitoring

Warranty the same 10 years. Sofar has built-in wifi and Sungrow has optional. I have a wifi module for it with the possibility of inserting a sim card.

Is it appropriate in the SofarSolar 4.4KTL-X inverter that the power of each string is assigned to one phase? In reports / charts www.solarmnpv.com 3-phase inverter. converts power into one phase. Correct it?

This link does not open, but I know what you mean, the power is shown for 1 phase only but it applies to all, note the currents are split into 3-phases, this is a software bug, so all Sofara three-phase inverters yes they have

Id 11 is incorrectly configured inputs, if you have one string 13 * 320 = 4160 and 13 * 33 = 430 it is ok for 3-phase. 9. Set Inputmode should be independent and you probably have a parallel one and you set it all with the position of the display, the TXT file, it is better not to touch it, and with these 13 items, no startup files need to be changed

It did. Normal mode. How did you change the input mode to 'parallel' instead of 'independent'? Fun fact.

Hello everyone, I just bought a 3300tl-g3 sofar without CT clamps, which allows me not to pour the surplus into the network until I legalize the installation. I saw that they are ten times cheaper on Aliexpress than the dealer sells them. Does anyone know its specs to know which from Aliexpress is Sofar compatible? Thank you in advance

In the end it was easier than expected, I emailed sofar support and they sent me the CT specs with no problem. Please find attached pdf specifications.

    Hello,
During the configuration, when you first start the Sofar Solar inverter, what country code did you set because the forums have different answers from PL to NL. What happens when you set the wrong country?
    Best regards.

PL, code 12, setting another, it will be incorrect, other permissible voltages specified in the TNC instruction and in the NC RFG declaration, and in the ZM declaration, the installer confirms with a signature that it is correct

He asks because somewhere I came across posts from people who wrote about other codes. Now it's hard for me to find because I am writing from the phone, but when I will be in front of the computer in the evening I will try to paste links to these posts. I think that as it is in the instruction 12 for PL, regardless of the source of inverter purchase, it will be the same code for our country.

I have this model too. The Country Code for PL is 12.
    What do you have
Hardware version - is shown on the sticker on the side of the Inverter
Software version - can be checked in the Inverter Menu or on the web in the Device section after registering the inverter at https://home.solarman.cn/

S: V2.01 Is this the Hardware version?
When I start the inverter for the first time, will it be a configurator, e.g. country code settings, or do I have to change the menu myself?

    Thank you.

Does this configuration make sense on 5.5ktl-x?

    string1: 8x 335w (~ 33V vmpp) total 264V
    string2: 6x 335w (~ 33V vmpp) total 198V
    The starting one is 180V
    Mppt range 160-960
But at full load 240-850 - does this mean that the efficiency will drop or the inverter will limit the power? If so, how much?
Will there be any problems with this number of panels for a string in severe heat? (the voltage on the panels will drop)

6 pcs will not be enough, at 8 the voltage remains approx. 235 - 259 V at the current temperature.

So what can we assume that 8 panels is a reasonable minimum per string for a 5.5 model?

Such conclusions only on the basis of calculations.

The Hardware Version item is on the sticker on the side of the inverter housing. There is a version written there. I wonder how it is with you.

You have to set the configuration yourself. There is a description in the manual. The menu is in English.

"The menu is in English." - I have a menu in Polish (Sofar 5.5KTL) but I do not remember whether it was after firing or I changed it myself. I actually set the country code after launching it.

But was it possible to enter the country code immediately or do you have to enter the menu?
Is it possible to start the falconer without connecting it to the AC network because you can not find anything about it anywhere

You have to enter and depending on whether it is the first time or change it is item 4. Set Country Code or 6. Enset Country
You can start the inverter after applying DC voltage from the modules

Only that the Polish power industry does not meet these standards, the obsolete power lines have not been replaced for 40 years and the voltage jumps to 260 V, so it is with me, and how to set it to 253 V here? When the inverter will reset every 30 seconds. Only by positioning it on DE 264 and then it blows.

Or maybe it depends on the region, prose maybe when I have no problems with resets or other errors then try on DE. You immediately had resets or errors on PL. I am asking because I still do not have an inverter connected to the AC grid.

There were no resets in the morning and in the afternoon, but as we approached noon the tension grew. In my street, there are 4 installations and when they all start to produce energy, the voltage increases and then resets. It's best to set it to DE immediately. And if it is impossible, it remains to connect the transformer lowering the voltage in front of the inverter and then it goes to 253 V.

Hello and I am asking for opinions

I am going to set up such a set, the south side is all connected to one MPPT connector.
    All suggestions welcome.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around user experiences with Sofar inverters, particularly the 8kW models, focusing on their performance, durability, and issues encountered. Users report generally positive experiences with Sofar inverters, noting their affordability and efficiency. However, some have faced connectivity issues, error messages related to input voltage, and concerns about the inverter's ability to handle high panel voltages, especially in cold weather. Recommendations include ensuring proper installation, monitoring voltage levels, and considering the inverter's specifications when connecting multiple panels. Users also discuss the importance of firmware updates and the potential for oversizing panels relative to the inverter capacity.
