    Amiga has 'PrtSc' under '*'.

As for the sometimes jammed '`', I still don't know where the problem is. I've tried everything I can think of.
I'm beginning to suspect that it's some bug in the ROM that sometimes reveals itself at non-standard CPU speeds.

I used to have an A600HD , then a cd32 + SX1 and this problem occurred as it does here.

What I mean is, is it not possible to switch the video modes on the A586 to another key, not PrnSc, for example End, F12 or other. Because now I can't exit some games, instead of exiting, the video mode changes, the A586 captures the PrnSc press )

I didn't even know there was an option to switch modes. Interesting, what modes are available?
I would suggest mapping it to a shift+prscr or shift+ctrl+prscr combo so it doesn't interfere with anything, because the END is there for a reason.

The ctrl+alt combinations with F11 and F12 will be occupied by reset and menu (as you manage to squeeze in fpga).
For PrScr I may add ctrl+alt, but that too as it will fit.

PrScr cuts the frame around the workbench, or turns on interlacing.

    Added after 2 [hours] 57 [minutes]: .

    CTRL+ALT+F12 - menu
    CTRL+ALT+F11 - reset
    CTRL+ALT+PrScr - change of resolution

Thank you! And it's still possible to have one, but the "slow" version)?
And a question about the mouse wheel - AmigaOS 3.2 added support for the mouse wheel, is there any way to force this to work on the A586?

So now the question is about the NES core - neither the joystick from the NES clone nor the joystick from SEGA (Atari) work. The core itself works and is controlled from the keyboard. Maybe some settings are needed?

I am almost sure that the purpose of the key is described here))) I need to study Veriliog)

Hi Piotr_go, is there any chance to get your C64 core for 1.9 board?
    Thanks.

I'm not going to investigate the gamepad ports on the NES core yet, I don't have time and I don't know Veriliog)))
But I rewired and connected the NEC FD1231H floppy - It works))

Maybe in the future. I didn't make the current one available due to source licensing:

    Hello,
In version 1.9, the keyboard from the amiga500 does not work
Is there any chance to correct this.

    Hi,

Can't get ZX-Spectrum core to work properly.
It loads esxdos, F11 runs menu, but after selecting any file (trd, scl, tap) its either hangs or resets.
I bet early (7-8 months ago) it ran well,
    Amiga and NES work brilliantly.

    Hi,

Fresh board, after it starts if I use microsd to sd adapter and press f4 or f10 or ins screen gets black. If I use standart sd card - it is ok, I see the file manager.
Tried different adapters and microsd cards..the same.
    What could be the problem?

    Thanks

    Cards must be >4GB.
I had no problems with Kingston.
Sandisk, Kioxia (Exceria), Patriot (V30) also OK.

    Hi,

All not working cards were sdhc (I) 1 21/20 read/write
SDHC (III) 3 80/80 read/write are working as expected.

    Thanks.

I realise how "helpful" this sounds, but in my case U1s work:
Purple PCB named DIY A586 with various electronic components, connectors, and a SIM card. .
I have yet to have a card not work.
Didn't you sometimes buy them on aliexpress/ebay ?

I have a suggestion for you and others. let's buy Peter a keyboard and he will add support.
I have looked on ebay.co.uk myself, there are several options for the price of £30-£40, or allegro.pl or olx.

I personally do not need an A500 keyboard with DIY, but I can add something from myself because the whole project is free.

I have placed an ad for a keyboard on the ppa.pl marketplace, if something hits, let's buy Peter a keyboard. hope you can count on it!

Topic summary

The DIY-A586 v1.9 is a Spartan6 XC6SLX9 FPGA-based Amiga-compatible board featuring 32MB 16-bit SDRAM, 16MB flash memory, HDMI output, analog audio with tape input, SD card slot, RS232, dual joystick and PS/2 ports, A500 keyboard connector, floppy disk drive connectors, USB-C 5V power, and onboard buttons and LEDs. It supports up to 30 FPGA configurations loaded from flash. The core uses a TG68 CPU softcore similar to Minimig but with a custom chipset and own implementations. Memory timing requires 133MHz/CL2 SDRAM, with Winbond W9825G6KH-5 or -6 compatible but untested variants. The project includes Amiga ROM patches and SD card ROM loading; flash must be formatted and programmed via menu. Floppy drive compatibility requires PC drives converted to Amiga standard with RDY signal generation. The board supports multiple cores including Amiga (Mikan core), NES, Spectrum, and RISC-V, with paid registration for some cores. Users report issues with floppy reading on Kickstart 1.3 fixed in core v0.1.6. Audio over HDMI requires timing adjustments due to resolution constraints. The project is open for community assembly with parts sourced from AliExpress, LCSC, Digikey, and Mouser, with suggestions for alternative components like AMS1117 regulators and 74AHCT logic ICs. Future plans include version 2.0 with larger FPGAs (Cyclone 4) and AGA + 68020 support, but no immediate release. The community discusses soldering order, flash programming, and component sourcing, with some users sharing build experiences and troubleshooting tips. The project emphasizes fast Workbench operation, real floppy drive support, and HDMI output as advantages over Minimig. Source code for the Mikan core is not publicly shared, but spectrum core sources are available. The board is suitable for advanced hobbyists with SMD soldering skills and FPGA experience.
